1,100 Potential Home Buyers Headed for PWC

By now you have most likely heard about Amazon’s new headquarters and how it is positively affecting the Arlington home market, but have you heard about Micron? Micron is going to be Prince William County as Amazon has been to Arlington.

Micron announced its 3-million-dollar expansion that will take place over the next 12 years. What this means is the creation of and additional 1,100 permanent jobs for the area. These jobs will mostly be for engineers and technicians once their expansion of their current property in Manassas is completed.

Micron Technology Inc. is the world’s 4th largest semi-conductor firm by revenue and has made its home for the past 15 years in Manassas. This announcement for expansion and the additional jobs it is creating means nothing but positive news for prospective home sellers.
